Second Corinthians

Grace and Peace

The man had wished us

In his precious letter.

The one coming down

From Heavenly bounty

Free and marvelous.

The other like a calming

Pond receiving

With surprise.

And we had suffered

So many ways.

Despair.

Dissipation.

Disasters.

Dreams so terrible.

Doubtings.

But the man

Spoke of consolations

As a sort of currency

God-sent gumption.

Stored and made

Available to shore up

Others hurting the same.

A ministry born

Of horrible stuff

COME THROUGH.

TRUSTING.
