I have a beautiful snapshot 1979, of my wife standing on those banks. All smiles. A beige sport-coat. Hands in pockets. Short cropped hairstyle. Well into the third leg of our holiday journey. London and coastline Rye. Salsbury, Stratford, Blenheim palace and Stonehenge. Glencoe, Donan, Glengarry and Lomond. Followed by Loch Ness. No monster.
